Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island in Western Canada

Very pleasant place to spend an afternoon. Very colorful displays of flowers....different in each season.

it looks as though you could spend lots of time there but maybe im imagining it being bigger than it really is?

It is about 55 acres. We were there all afternoon and did not cover it all. We go there only once or twice a year to find out all the seasonal colors. They have wonderful Christmas dispay,lots of lights. Definitely a local (tourist) attraction.

bit far for me, my mum and dad possibly went there, i cant remember now, i know they loved canada when they visited.
