Many species of Opuntia grow wild everywhere here in San Diego and many other parts of California. This one was pretty well maintained and not too huge and wild like the ones in the canyons throughout San Diego. Photo taken on Feb. 16, 2013.

Prune that up,and thats a beauty tree Opuntia..plant under it some color. Great look.
