Yes Terra I always take a few cuttings for the following year and will be putting these out when the frosts have finished, although we haven't had many this year have we. I also take a few cuttings of perrenials too and then take some of the older ones out.

Thanks Terra. THR the flower is a perennial wallflower that is tough and grows outside well. I take cuttings every year to replace. The butterflies and moths love the flowers.

Thanks Marybells, I enjoy taking cuttings and getting them to grow. Geraniums are easy to get going. Cut the stem just below a leaf joint and take off two sets of leaves and bury into compost. Water then leave until drying out and water again. Don't make them too wet or they will rot. As they root and grow take off the flowering buds until strong plants. Acclimatise for a few days then plant into flowerbeds after the frosts.
