lovely little gardens with the river Derwent running along one side. They have brass bands playing in the bandstand and other forms of entertainment too at the weekend during the summer months.

There is a kingfisher that lives nearby and visits the small lake at the back. Gerry has seen him but I haven't. Peregrines are living on the mill there too. Geese, ducks, seagulls and pigeons get well fed by the public. Wooden rowing boats to take down the river if one is feeling energetic.

Hi Wells, living where we do in Derbyshire is lovely as there are old houses to visit and the beautiful countryside around to walk in.
