Catanache caerulea bi color ( for my file)

Love this plant, mine are all seed heads now and think they look pretty too :-)

I thought I had missed this flowering and was going to dead head this a week ago, but the papery 'seed pod' opened into a flower. There are still more flowers to come I think.

Will have to see how well it overwinters. I believe that they are not awfully long lived plants, more's the pity. We shall see!
