Rhododendron Hoppy

Almost in full bloom.
One of the Seven Dwarf collection. Hoppy was misnamed.... should have been Happy. It is the largest of the them.

Waterer (Bagshot). Origin: British.

Just a note that this so called dwarf is not a dwarf at all, it is about 9-10ft tall.

Is "Hoppy" the Canadian translation for Happy? I like this Rhodie.

It was registered as " Hoppy" Bathgate . There is several stories why. One is that there already was another R. "Happy" registered and the other story says that someone at the registry read the "a" as "o" and did not know that there is not a dwarf named "Hoppy". LOL.
It was registered in UK.
Anyway it is officially "a Hoppy" I also have "Sneezy"
