I've never tried to wrangle these into the garden...they grow completely wild and select their own location!! ;-)
They have a long taproot and grow out of a basal rosette of leaves which is very close to the ground. I wouldn't want to send you a pest...but if you think you might like some I'll see about getting a root or seeds?
