This shrub is looking absolutely stunning at the moment and the berries are just starting to turn...they'll be bright red in a few days.But, for now, the leaves are the star of the show.

Looks great! Its a popular plant here too. Are the similar Mahonia species grown much there?.

We see a lot of Mahonias Stan.....the large ones are often used by local authorities is mass plantinbngs to fill large areas. I had a beauty , 'Winter Sun' in my old garden, directly outside the bay window where we could see the bees visiting it very often throughout the winter!
