Thank you Siris..I didn't know that..I've just moved it from a chimney pot ,to a larger pot..it didn't seem as though it had made a lot of root, but it's still only quite young..

Oh brilliant ... so good to see them thriving in your garden Sandra. I kept the Libertia in a pot for some time, 'babies' appeared around the pot sides so I took them for cuttings. I have planted one out in the garden and shall be keeping an eye out for any new ones!

Thank you Amy..it has done so much better there,as it was a bit shaded by another small shrub, which has also been moved to a more suitable place:o)

I'm glad they are doing well, especially when you went to the trouble to send them,Shirley..the other Libertia didn't survive, but glad this one seems to like it 'oop North ' ! lol xx

Both looking very healthy, all our Libertias are in the ground, and make beautiful plants, very easy to extract the babies that pop up, because the roots are tiny...

What a very pretty corner and I remember you 'tackling' the osmanthus.
To have plants given by thoughtful friends makes them all the more special.

Thank you Angela..I shall watch out for the baby ones, and might then replant 'mum' in the garden too..it's been in my chimney pot all winter, but with some fleece around the roots,as I wasn't sure if it would be hardy enough in a border..xx

Thank you Chris,it really is in a better place now,and was easy to move whilst it was a reasonable size, and it also needed a little reshaping too..I know that feeling ! lol Agree about seeing gifted plants from friends, very special indeed :o) xx
