Well protected behind the Teucrium fruticans shrub.The leaves are a deep chocolate.

I love them. But they die over the winter here. I managed to keep one for about four years, but it eventually got too big for the container and they don’t survive in the ground.

We lost this one, we have a couple of dark brown ones, and a yellow the names escape me atm, love their gorgeous shiny glossy leaves...can be pruned hard too !!
