A Very Little Pond :)

A Very Little Pond :)

I started out with an old plastic trug which was twice this size, but it leaked! So I had to go to plan B and use the ancient Jam Pan that I had lurking in a corner. The birds like it though and are already using it as their watering hole.

I handed my big brass jam pan in to a charity shop before the virus legislation made it impossible to leave home. Lol I might be able to buy it back when this is all over. It is a great idea and will be big enough to house a small pump.

GOOD IDEA. WE HAVE TO REPLACE THE WATER EVERY DAY IN OUR BIRD BATHS.

Thank you everyone. The little plant in the top is aquatic buttercup. It flowers in mid summer, and self-seeds around the pond which is where I plucked this one from.
