snail Vine flower bud (Phaseolus caracalla)

If you look closely, you can see a drop of water at the base of this bud. We had a bit of rain prior to this picture being taken.

It is very unusual and the shape is very snail-like. It is very hardy and survives some of the lower temperatures during the winter. Of course, we don't have prolonged periods of cold weather. Day here day there.
