Lol,Shirley..Isn't this wind awful? Everything is so dry, without this adding to the problem...not doing my English rose complexion much good,either...as if! Lol.

wow, like a firework Shirley, Gorgeous. Mine is still in the greenhouse with a few scraggy leave's lol, I shouldn't of repotted it, I think! Its just that me and sis bought them at the same time 3 years ago but, hers always has more flowers, so i thought, ill repot it and maybe get more flowers than her this year hahahaha.. Maybe backfired a bit :) I love this one tho, ill look out for it, add to my faves..

The lime green leaves are Aquilegia foliage, Sheila, seems that every flower wants to appear at the same time! ... Bloomer, I'm fed up with watering the garden, I missed last night and the Strawberries in the pot drooped so I'm feling guilty now! : o ( ... Ydd, this is the first time I've planted Alliums, not sure if I'll get to like them, the leaves are tatty-looking, especially on the smaller varieties, one for me to think about . : o )) ... Hope yours keep upright, Pp!

Check out A.christophii Shirley - very similar flowers to this, but has really attractive foliage. The leaves are a green grey with a subtle serrated edge.

Mmm, I see what you mean, they're not so tall as 'Purple Sensation' either. The foliage is now being hidden by Aquilegias so I'll let them stay! : o )
