Close up Passion flower (Passiflora caerulea (Passion flower))

An exotic flower of Passiflora caerulea. My plant, although large is always deciduous. Self seeds in crevices, easily pulled out though.

In the market, Madeira, they were selling different Passion fruits, let you taste. Absolutely delicious. This one is edible, have tried, but no flavour, texture like frog spawn, yuk!

Love your description of the taste lol. Used to grow this many moons ago but, just too dam vigorous, so out it went, a really exotic looking plant..

It is indeed very vigorous, and the stem is becoming a trunk! It is mingled in the same are with a Clematis tangutica, equally vigorous.
