Potentilla fruticosa 'Limelight' (Potentilla fruticosa)

A hardy deciduous shrub with very pale yellow flowers from late Spring to early Autumn. For sun or light shade in well-drained soil.

Indeed, I am adding more yellow to the garden, partly as OH sees shades of yellow above all with his colour blindness, partly just because I like yellow ... lol!

Thanks Sandra ... it has filled a gap where a Spiraea was ... removed the latter as it just sent out so many suckers ... :o(

I like that plant Shirley. I have 2 already and thinking to buy another. It is not fussy, grows in any condition and soil and looks and blooms wonderfully all summer. Still looks lovely now.

Thanks Amy, in a previous garden I had about a dozen Potentillas, left them all behind though. Silly me!

I like the name and the shrub, I have one in the front garden a little deeper yellow flowers, I also like the foliage too;0)
