This variety has a good standing ability in the garden with resistance to bulbiness and bolting along with a high rust tolerance.

These top quality leeks are perfect for the kitchen or show bench growing on any ordinary soil in full sun or part shade.

Sow mid January to February under glass for transplanting.
Alternatively sow March to April outdoors.
Harvest August to February.

Sowing instructions:
For earliest crops sow 1cm deep in pots or modules of good seed compost at 15C under glass or in a propagator (a unit idea for seed growth consisting of a box with a heating cable or pad in the base and a thermostat to maintain consistent temperature).
For main crops sow thinly in a prepared seedbed outdoors or under glass.
