My favourite geum - so reliable and delicate.

I'm glad the snails have left yours alone!

Gorgeous!

Me, too. Comes back easily.

Same here. I'm amazed at what they've chomped through this year!

Mine are all white this summer. I think they are ones grown from seed. Yours are very pretty.

Oh, how exciting - new building work!
I haven't worked up the energy for planting yet. We have a few decisions to make about that. And the weeding to do!

Thanks, Shirley. We got a bit of a surprise at the growth when we got back but I am staggered by the amount of slug and snail damage, too.

Glad you like, Kate. Pink climber is 'Sir Paul Smith', should you be interested.

They weren't at all fussed about admirers, Kate. There's a stream nearby and they eventually toddled off into it.

It is special, Kate.

Thanks, Kate.

I know how you feel Shirley..
Everywhere I look the plants are peppered with holes. The only saving grace are my roses... so clean ...don't think I should have said that !!! Testing fate I fear.

Thank you, Julia, appreciate your advice. :-))

We have that particular one...remember not to plant it too deep...very reliable one.

It's actually the Rose that Owen bought us when we took him to David Austin garden. Thank goodness it's flourishing!

Lovely colour! Great idea for the insects too.

Looking lush. Can't beat garden grown for that delicious flavour!

I do like these, Linda. I'm surprised to see my campanula flourishing on the rockery! Usually they are nibbled until there's nothing left!

Lovely blue, Linda.

I've a pot full too, don't the have such a lovely scent!

On photo - P1140334

Agree!!! I've tried to avoid killing them while trimming the front hedging..it's lovely to see so many out there at the minute.

Oh blast! What a real pity, sorry to see this happen, Shirley. These pests seem to have some new found powers! Have you tried those steel wire cleaning sponges, unravelled? It was a patient who sold me on the idea. Unravel and place around a plant. Not sure if it works for everything?

Avocets are a favourite of mine, thanks for sharing, Ange. Sounds like a lovely visit.

Such a restful pic. Ange. Certainly looks a place to enjoy the wildlife and long walks.

Aw, smashing capture here, Ange!

That's a beauty, Julia! Love the graduation of colour.

That's a pretty snap! Love the summery feel, Linda.
I just can't keep French Lavender, it never thrives..English Lavender certainly does fortunately!

It's definitely a hot zingy flower!!! It's flourished from seed, Wylie!

Very pretty, Shirley!!! Love the cottagey, summer feel. I was very tempted to buy some today.. delphiniums were also very tempting!

Looks lovely, Karen! Lighting does add so much to the garden, throughout the year.
We have lighting all over and around ours, it feels like a beacon at times, for planes flying in to Humberside!

Absolutely beautiful!!! I can almost smell those gorgeous scents from all the way up here! Loving pic 2, especially! It really does give you some ideas doesn't it! Lawns look pristine! Lush and green. Pretty perfect place to meander through!
Sorry you had a horrendous trip home, Ange. You'd be quite shattered.

Oh Rose, I'll bet your lawn looks good! Ours is so tiny, we have to keep on top of it. Plus, it is so easy to manage as it doesn't take long!

Aw thanks so much, Ange. I do like cloud pruning some of the evergreens..I find it very relaxing. Hope you enjoyed your lovely holiday! Bet it was lovely to see some new spots around the country too. Have you had a chance to plant up all your new purchases yet? Very exciting!
Ange, I'd love to show a pic of the garden in full..but it'd disappoint! I would spoil the illusion of having much more than I actually have!!!! Maybe I will post though..once our scaffolding disappears after the building work is finished ; - ))

Thank you, Karen! I got 'into' them myself many years ago, after a patient gave me a few. Now OH loves them.
The little pine is one of many OH planted in the past year, thanks for liking. Pleased you like the border too :-))

Lovely against the blue sky!

So disheartening Shirley ๐Ÿ™.

I think we saw grey seals there some time ago ...

Lovely photos, Ange, I have so enjoyed viewing them. Some of my Roses are flowering well with many others in bud, this is one of the reasons I love this season.

Hi Karen, thanks for your kind comments. I try to do my best and this year I am packing the colour in gradually. We have four different tomatoes, but my favourite one is a green and red striped one called Tigerella. Lovely sweet taste and has a soft skin too. If you haven't got a greenhouse, you can always start them off in a conservatory or window.

The best sort, Karen.

On photo - Oh dear!

Ff, most of the roses are still to flower and will be amazing when they do. Yes, the grass looks just like mine at home (I wish!)

It would be good to have their skill at pruning and shaping roses the way they do, Karen.

Yes, we want to get to Blooms one day Sheila. Need to work up the energy for the drive first!!

It's run by the North Norfolk Wildlife Trust, ladies, and they have their own cafe and shop here, with really attractive goods on sale.

Looking good Karen. Whenever I think of you I think of that lovely pod.

Your garden looks full of promise Linda! I ended up giving all but one of my seed grown tomatoes away because I had ordered the outdoor collection from Sarah Raven. When they arrived (late) they were very small. But I dare say they will catch up. So I now have one tall strong young tomato that I grew myself from seed and 10 small seedlings. But they are growing well and itโ€™s good to have a variety of fruits.

Certainly looks happy there HB.

Good to be there on a blue sky day ๐Ÿ™‚.

What a lovely capture ๐Ÿ™‚.

What a lovely visit, Ange, but sorry to hear you had such a frustrating journey. The traffic seems to get worse year by year.
Blooms of Bressingham is a happy memory for me โ€ฆ a really beautiful garden and where I bought my Cornus Eddieโ€™s White Wonder twenty years ago!

The new leaves are growing even larger than the pic I posted a few days ago. It looks so strange with leaves so much larger than the stem.

This little tree has grown quite a lot since I purchased it on November 10, 2022.

I just added a sugar loaf pineapple yesterday. This is the sweetest variety and the core is edible.

Itโ€™s alright to be envious. ๐Ÿ˜‚
