all our plants have produced green peppers but one has produced black peppers. Are these ok to eat and why black?

Capsicum bell peppers CAN and DO come in black - and maybe the seed got mixed up! Is it just one plant and more importantly - what size are they? Are they growing normally - or are they just tiny wee things that are not thriving?
If they are as big and good looking as the rest of your green ones - sounds like they are perfectly normal and it was a just a rogue seed. In which case - enjoy!
