Early planting experiment!

I have become fascinated with the “bare root planting technique” and decided to test it using a “sweet bell pepper” transplant. Normally, the “bare root” planting will only work on trees and woody shrubs, but I wanted to try it on a random plant and see what happens. The transplant came from a local nursery and had the usual “Perlite” and “peat-moss” potting soil mix in it’s little 4" container.
Peat-moss does NOT support biological activity in the soil and “perlite” is the same way.
I soaked the little root-ball in a highly diluted solution of “garret juice” for an hour before I put the little guy in the soil.
After only one week, the little pepper has doubled in size:

How Fascinating!

That's very good! What is "garret juice". Is it like the stuff that made Jack's bean grow in Jack and the beanstalk?
How is the garlic coming along?
