This one looks lovely all year round Karen. The leaves have red tints in winter.

Lovely plants with a perfume also, can grow very large, I admire the variegation on this one...

I keep this one trimmed quite low in the front garden. The scent is lovely and it is just outside the office window.

I have grown a few of them and don't get a scent from any of them. A. x grandiflora itself is hardy enough (last winter) but I have seen 'Confetti' completely defoliated and very sad. All very long flowering. A 'must have' shrub for any garden.

Lovely. I've never grown Abelia, but often admired them.
