Brunfelsia pauciflora - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow Shrub

Brunfelsia pauciflora - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow Shrub (Brunfelsia pauciflora - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow Shrub)

This shrub is a small you plant. Usually, I see this shrub much larger around 8 - 12 feet tall. It was very fragrant. Photo taken May 7, 2009.

I have one of these but it hasn't flowered like this for quite some time - I think it's in too much shade now.

I"m going to ask the obvious...why yesterday, today and tomorrow? do the blossom colours change as they age?

Bernieh, these plants tend to grow on the north or east side of building they do like some direct sun.

Lori, yes the flower colors change as they age. The flower start out dark blue and fade to light blue and ultimately turns white.
