I was surprised to find this lovely lily is a relative of striped Squill. It seems to be enjoying its position in your garden. Beautiful leaves.

I'm having the same problem with my Cardiocrinums. I hope I can see flowers on them this year as they did look promising in the pots. I have three dotted around the garden. I'm reluctant to use anything which might harm the wildlife. I bought a box of crystal powder stuff when I was down south. I forgot to bring it home with me but it is supposed to be harmless to other garden life except slugs and snails. It seemed to be cheap but reading the label it is necessary to heap it up against the stems of endangered plants so the boxful will not go very far. I cr the name of it.
