have you tried giving the plants a 'haircut'? this stimulates them to produce more flowers.

What an absolutely glorious picture!
The garden centres now seem to be selling young bedding plants at half price. What about small fuchsias? (I saw boxes of 6 today) or million bells or something else that tumbles. Or perhaps even a hardy geranium such as Roxanne-mine is still in full luxuriant bloom and has been all the summer so far.

I'm going to try trimming the Bacopa and putting the bicycle to one side, while I search for the best replacements - I do like the Roxanne idea as we already have one and know how well they spread!
