It must be the weather we’ve had. Doronicum, Leopard’s Bane is flowering well. But this year the blooms are hardly taller than the clump. Has anyone else experienced this before?

I can't even get them to grow here...Maybe the mild weather has encouraged them to open before the stems had grown. Everything is ridiculously early.

Thanks. Sorry you can’t get them to grow, Stera, I’ve always found them very easy. Mine look healthy despite the short stems.

I have the same trouble with snowdrops in this garden. Every year I buy new ones then never see them again. The wonders of nature, huh?
