Hello I have cut back to about 50cm an overgrown mature Choysia Sundance (2mx2m) today. My husband is afraid it will not come back. Any experience? And if it does put leaves back again (hopefully) …. Will it be this summer or next year? Or how long before seeing any growth?
It’s in front of our house and it looks so empty now :(

welcome to GoY,
yes it shouldnt be a problem, make sure it doesn't get too dry and it will strat to regrow almost immediately.

I agree, after almost 'butchering 'mine ,a few years ago,it is now a beautiful healthy shrub, and I've never seen as many flowers ,as it's had this year,so it's just had another trim to re shape it, now it has finished flowering. Your's will be fine :o)
