Hello,
I am growing Early Onward peas, and they are growing well. Trouble is, the pods are black. I wondered why. The flowers are rather pretty, but not the usual white ones. I am certain we have grown this type of pea before, but we have never had this colour scheme!

yes, I have emailed them but as one might epect, no reply! I wonder why some sites have email addresses when half the time they don't reply....still time yet to get one. One theory is that the seeds are in the wrong packet! Thanks anyway.

That is possible seeds do occasionally get wrongly packeted. I think i might bombard them with e-mails until they chose to respond!

Hi Maureen and welcome to GoY. Those certainly don't look like Early Onward pea pods... can you talk to the seed supplier and see if anyone else has the same problem?
