I need a white shrub

I need a tallish white shrub that won't attract aphids. What I really want is a pure white lavatera but no nurseys seem to stock them. I think Mock Orange and Hibiscus would attact aphids? Any other suggestions?

There's also a good hydrangea called 'Lanarth White'.
Or how about a myrtle?

Our Spirea Arguta ( Bridal Spray ) will be a mass of white soon. Its 6 feet tall by 6 feet wide by 6 feet deep and will get bigger if we let it.

How about a hardy white Fuchsia very nice, flowers for ages and in the early evening the flowers are almost luminous only problem I cant think of the name of it but worth looking for

The fuchsia is called 'Hawkshead' if that helps.
I have recently planted a white Hibiscus - mine is called 'White Chiffon' - found at a GC - and a white Lavatera called 'Lisanne' I tracked it down on the net and it came by mail order.
Good luck with your search.

How about a white lilac? I don't think I've seen them attacked by aphids.
