Dark green leaves which turn attractive shades of yellow in autumn. This vigorous tree has pure white bark which looks stunning in winter and in spring, yellow-brown male catkins are produced. This is a lovely tree that can cope with most soils and even exposed gardens, though it does get to be a large tree.Garden care: Requires minimal pruning. Remove any broken, diseased or crossing branches in late autumn or winter. When planting incorporate lots of well-rotted garden compost in the planting and stake well.
