I made it from a 2 litre plastic milk bottle SG. The tube bit is the handle. You can cut it all out in one piece with a scissors

Fantastic bit of recyclying. You are clever. I shall certainly copy it. Do you mind if I pass on the tip on another website?

Its 10 to one on New Years morning. We are off to bed after watching the spectacular firework display at Edinburgh Castle from our back door. It is a quiet no wind night. The crisp kind of night when we would have been happy to walk and visit till dawn in our younger years. I wish everyone a contented year.

You are quite the poet Richard. Well done you must have heard we are going to have a tram line in Edinburgh for the first time in over 50 years. We have been watching a lot of BBC Alba today and they now have a "Piping Idol" competition at the World Pipe band Championships in Glasgow. Lots of drams being enjoyed. Its still raining and very cold but we are dreaming of the sun in the glen. Roll on summer.

Thank you SG, no I have not heard about the tramline I am sure that it will be a great hit for all when it is put in. Not heard about the pipe championships in Glasgow either.
Edinburgh is such a beautiful place and you sound as if you are in a lovely spot if you can see the castle from your place. Haha yes roll on the summer for me too it was dark here at around 4pm today. Take care my friend.

We don't see the castle Richard but it is so high up that we get great views of the fireworks displays throughout the year.
