Frillaria stenanthera - 2016

Frillaria stenanthera - 2016 (Fritillaria stenanthera)

Small bulb, just a few inches high, for sun and well-drained soil. As it dislikes excessive summer wet, it may be best in an alpine house or cold frame.

It's had a real battering from the weather recently so I'm not surprised the flower looks a bit 'iffy'

Looks lovely but not for the Scottish climate.

Pretty. It looks delicate in more ways than one!
