I know she would - in her last years, I used to plant up her pots for her as she couldn't do it herself. It was nice to pop little surprises in - like a few bright Anemones!

Yes, she'd ring me up and her bright voice would just say - what are those lovely red flowers in my pot? Her eyes were fading, you see - the brighter the better for her. Good memories indeed!
