Help i've got a glut of cucumbers

I had a prowl on dear old Google and was looking for the good soup I used to make....as it is a great cuc.glut standby....cold or hot.
There are a few suggestions on this site...

1.Put a sign in a front window "fresh organic cucumbers!" Guaranteed to draw a crowd.
2.Give to your local church to sell after Sunday service for funds or any other local charity group come to that.
3.Take a few round to an old people's home in your area. Surely someone there would appreciate some good fresh homegrown produce?

If yoo're still getting cucumbers, pick them small and pickle them, that's what I do. Great to eat in a couple of months.

Thanks david I think i'l do that, they are still coming and I can't give them away, nobody wants any more.

Hmmph, can't put my hands on my Sarson's pickling book, but there are lots of pickling recipes to be found online, of course. Baby cukes are gherkins, of course. :-)
