Allium ? 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
My onions this year were huge and my garlic better than usual, but the shallots failed miserably.
The photo below shows examples. They're on a teaplate and that's a pound coin for size comparison.
I have 20 shallots, all this size - the question is - shall I chuck them away or what ?

Thanks for your input, Worthy, but what best to do with them ? I was looking forward to pickling some but I'd want about 19 on a plate to get the taste.
