I'm Hank, I'm long retired and live near Stockport in Cheshire with my son. I never touched the garden until 4 years ago as my wife was a great gardener.
I didn't know what I was missing and while I often get things wrong I'm in the garden every day, even if it's only weeding. I've no interest at all in flowers but just grow the veg we like and mostly far too many, ending up supplying friends and neighbours. E.g. 20 tomato plants in 1912 !
I've had some successes and numerous failures but when I ask I always get excellent advice from fellow members, thanks.
