I have planted a few Japanese Jasmine (Star) next to my bedroom wall. They are just a month old and growing well. Recently I was told that it was an unwise choice of a creeper plants next to a wall as their root-system is invasive and as bad as creeping Ficus. Do I have to remove them? I am conscerned about my pavers 3 feet away. Many thinks for any helpful information.

Well, I have never had near as much trouble with Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) roots as I have had with Creeping Fig or Ivy roots.
