hi I found a beautiful poppy walking earlier this summer . I've returned and found it had produced its seed tops so I took some but I dont no how long before I can plant them or how . Any help would be appreciated . They were just growing by the road but I think they've strayed from somebody's garden . Thanks

I'd imagine that if you found it growing in the wild and it had seed heads, those seeds would already be scattered and the lucky ones will germinate. So in your shoes I'd be sowing already on moist, raked, weed free soil.

Keep them in a dry place until you can scatter them where you want them to grow. They do best in an open site.
