Came to the area nearly 45 years ago when I was an air hostess based at Gatwick. We have lived in four different houses in that time, with gardens ranging from half an acre to postage stamp size. We have just moved back to the very first house I lived in 45 years ago which I inherited a couple of years ago. Postage stamp again, block paved at the front and mainly patio areas at the back with masses of pots. I love gardening but don't like killing anything (apart from slugs) so most creatures are safe. I have a sense of the ridiculous and don't take life too seriously. I love updating old furniture and have remodelled and painted tables, chairs, and book cases and love trawling auctions.
