Fantastic! Such a shame that it's Jekka's last time at Chelsea (as an exhibitor)...let's hope she comes back with a show garden next year...her plants and knowledge are incredible :)

Thanks sanbaz. It was the best display in the marquee for me, and huge. all the plants were herbs or had a medicinal purpose. Yes it would be great to see her do a garden Crazydi

Didn't people use woad as a dye in days past.

Thats right Lindak. I think some craftspeople still use it. It was also used by the ancient Picts as body paint. I dont know when it flowers but would look good in a late summer border with oranges and reds
