Bird nest box Camera. Good lady wants to have one so its plan time. The box is quite easy but the electronics could prove tricky. Hoping to feed cable through wall to TV via a wall vent but not yet decided how to connect to TV. Would appreciate any advice on installation. Cannot proceed at present as all my boxes are occupied. Considering making a new one between tasks. Its an exiting project i will enjoy. Take care enjoy.

Oh! that sounds like a good idea Kat, doesn't it Tony, it sounds like a lot less technical bother!
Tony, I haven't forgotten your rose request, I'm constructing a missive as we speak! Our electric went off again yesterday, so that curtailed the 'internetting' both for our work and 'playing' on Goy! I'll send you a pm later!

I gave my partner a wireless camera and bird box for Christmas. He thoroughly enjoyed setting it up in the cherry tree within view of a lounge window but sadly no birds have nested there so far.
We live in hope. Meanwhile I hope you will keep us posted on how yours progresses.

How good is that, having all your bird boxes full - you must have a lot of very contented birds in your garden, Paul.

hi mariek Lucky with the bird population upto now. Have 7 boxes in poss and all have chicks. Adults take food above and past me as i sit on the patio drinking my cuppa. 3 new boxes put up recentley and were occupied almost at once. I had 4 boxes originaley. Love birds but i use natures rules to keep on their good side. Hope your garden gives you good results. Take care enjoy . Tony

You could go for a wireless system, something like this:
http://www.naturecameras.co.uk/boxwireless.php
(you might find a"cheeper" one [Groan] - that one was the first I came across)
With that sort of system you'll only need to worry about running the power out there; nothing needs to be physically connected to your television.
Good luck with it anyway, I do love a good project!
Kat :-)
