I have grown begonias for my garden for many years, But this year I decided to join the National Begonia Society. What a great decision !
I was invited to a area NBS Meeting being held in Nailsea Nr Bristol I met a great group of people who freely gave me all the advice I ask for to produce better Begonias, and was able to purchase Show quality tubers at a great price. And have been encouraged to try and grow some plants for our area show.this will be a challenge as I know nothing about growing Begonias for the show bench,But I have only to send an email to one of my new friends and receive a reply with the advice I needed almost immediatley this has increased my enjoyment of growing these beatifull flowers greatly

You have some gr8 looking plants there. Welcome to GOY. Just to say that most growers seem to have slightly different methods, and all think their way is best. Pick out what works best for you and your plants, once you're getting the best results, stick with it whatever the other growers say.
Do you find the green netting works at keeping the sun from burning your plants? I've got white shading painted on my glass at the moment, but was thinking of using some of the green netting for next year.

I have white on my glasshouse,This Begonia site is a large pergala type area, open on all four sides with the stageing attached to the uprights, the green netting allows plenty of fresh air to pass through and shades the plants from the sun.I also put the netting on the sunny side of the glass house on very sunny days
