Raised Vegetable Plot

Having been inspired by the on line square foot garden on this site I am trying to do something similiar. So far got the wood and stakes from BnQ and managed to get it back with help from friend and a van.
However then discoverd I have to get rid of the weeds, chopped down branches of buddlea and eucalyptus that needed cutting back. Have cut these down further and started putting into bags to take to the dump. Unfortunately too much for the one green bag we get for recycling, so may take a few weeks. I have a new baby and so probably wont get to the dump as too much of a hasstle.
Its all good fresh air for baby Jake, who watches or falls asleep, but I dont leave him out there all day on his own like the wicked women on the TV show. Hopefully when I get going next year I will have some organic veggies for weaning Jake.
Spent today weeding and mulching my friends lovely garden, which has been landscaped this year, I am upkeeping it for her whilst she is in Australia travelling. Its amazing even though its small and well planned how much there is to do still.

We are expecting our first baby in December. I couldn't believe 'Cruella de Vil' on that Channel 4 program either!!! Not for me.
Genuisscuffy's blog entries and results have been really great, haven't they?
