My word, what a wonderful transformation you've made of that garden! What are those beautiful white bells in pic 27? And you have gorgeous Auriculas too- never knew there were so many lovely ones.I just have the old fashioned original dark red ones.
Its good to see that your garden has the (to me) necessary addition of a little tabby cat to supervise it all.

Well its not possible to mention everything that should be mentioned is it - but mustn't omit the Magnolia - wow!

wonderful Owd and I am so glad you didn't give up on your auriculas. I remember how upset/despondent you were last year when you found vine weevil chomping away. Beautiful collection and so many other lovely shady ladies in there too. A lovely garden.

Weigela middendorffianum is yellow, the photo washed out some of the colour.
The pink and yellow in 52 is a species tulip. Not sure which one, but fairly commonly sold.
I planted all the auriculas out on the garden to live or die as they chose.
The other primulas in there are P. sieboldii.
Three cats by the way.

Really chuffed with the Auricula in the tenth from the end image. I grew that from seed.

Lovely blog, Owd. Your garden is a shady beauty. I'm envious of the primroses and auriculas, some gorgeous colours there.

Lovely pics, Owdboggy, thanks for the tour. I do love your naturalist planting style. Loving your beautiful 3 pussy cats too!

Sadly the 2 big Rhododendrons in pic 11 by the bungalow had gone. they had so many scale insects that they had to be cut down to the ground.
