Epsom Salt

Do you know that Epsom Salt is a great fertilizer for your tomatoes and flowers. I always put some in my water barrels and use it to water my vegetables and flowers. You cannot overdose with it either. It is safe. Some landscapers use it to fertilizer the lawn. Try it and see the difference. Also, it is very cheap and when you are tired from gardening, soak in a warm bath with it.

I've heard it is good for a yellowing plant - brings it back all nice and green. It really works, I tried it once.

Hi Terry... yes Epsom Salts is Magnesium Sulphate...
Magnesium as a nutreint is required in plant cells because it is a component of chlorophyll. Magnesium deficiency is often misdiagnosed as nitrogen deficiency...because leaves usually turn yellow between the veins of leaves and growth is stunted and this usually appears first on the lower older leaves.
