Danmaged AGAIN!!

Just as I am getting over the attack on the garden ,and getting ready to replace the dead and dying plants, the rubbish men come and damge it.

Firstly they drive the rubbish truck over it twice, trying to negotiate a corner, then they start moving my plant pots (AFTER DRVING OVER GARDEN TWICE) to try and get past, eventhough there is more than enough room, and throw one of my solar lights on the floor, and another in to the back of the lorry.

I wrote a very angry e-mail, demanding payment to replace a whole set of lights, as I cannot find single ones of the same style.

RIDICULOUS!!!!

I would be so furious too, after all that has happened lately. The council will know who was driving at that particular time anyway,so they can't deny it.Ours once hit the lamp post causing damage, and was just about to drive off,as I went out to ask if he was going to report it.He wasn't pleased, but I rang
the Highways dept anyway...mended before the day was out....

You should post some pictures, maybe some of us who live nearby can all ban together and get something done. The news media loves stories of this type.

That's just daft. What idiots would do that ? I'm glad you wrote to the council. Keep on at them. They must pay you for the damage. Don't give in at all !.
I hope you have photos to prove it to them.

People are so horribly careless. After all you've been through with your garden vandal, and now this.

Just sent off 2nd e-mail, copied and pasted 1st e-mail.

I plan on doing this every week, until they reply, to show that I am not backing down, and want them to cover the cost of replacement.

I have just been told that a supervisor for that department will be investigating the incident.
