Head to the Natural History Museum before September 2011, and visit the Butterfly House. It is just like Doctor Who’s TARDIS. Looks small on the outside, but has a long snakey path through it. £3.50 entry fee per person. WELL WORTH IT! Photography is permitted.

Cool clothing is suggested, as the butterfly house is humid due to tropical butterflies.

WARNING! A lot of pictures follow

My little hitchiker. I was told that the butterfly, sat there for a couple of minutes while we walked around.

Congratulations. You are now an elegant butterfly.

My hitchiker apparently turned stalker, and would continuously land on me all the way round.

He / she decided to try my Mum’s shoulder.

Poor thing is injured.

Wow, you made it through 66 photographs. You must like butterflies. If you don’t, why did you just sit through 66.

I couldn’t wittle it down any further. I already wittled it down, taking out a few very shaky ones.

Yes I was. I was taking pictures like a mad man. While I was taking pictures of one, my sister and Mum would point out another one.

I would recommend a visit to anyone who likes butterflies and can get down to Central London.
