Toxin gobbling house plants
0 comments
I have just been catching up with some old newspapers and in the August 19 Sunday Telegraph, Home & Living section, found an article with the above title. It appears that those of us who spend time on the computer should have a good old fashioned spider plant in the room to gobble up the toxins produced by it. It also appears that we should have a moth orchid in our bedroom as it produces oxygen during the night. All we need to do in return is to keep their leaves free of dust with a quick wash every so often and give them the food and water they require to thrive.
Seems a fair exchange to me. There were various other plants mentioned in the article for general living spaces. Don’t know if the article is still available to download but worth a read if it is.
