Who said bees are on the way out?
I am sitting in my back garden in Peterculter west of Aberdeen on royal deeside! Beside a bed of Garaldicia which are covered in bumble bees,drones and hover flies.
It is 20c a glass of wine in one hand a fag in the other(sorry).does it get any better?
More bumbles arriving by the
minute.
I am a happy man!

Plenty of bees and hoverflies here this year, no wasps about though which is good as I can pick the apples up without the worry of getting stung, a bonus I think, its been a lovely day here as well, sunshine all day, sadly no wine but I`m still happy.

We've had plenty of bumble bees this year but no honey bees. I googled Garaldicia but it wasn't there so come on Baillie, let us in on the secret!

Plenty of bees here - and wasps! I got stung yesterday! Silly me - fancy thinking I could bring my dry washing in. Didn't I know it would disturb two wasps who thought they owned it!!!!!! Aaarggghhhh!
