Summer? Well, well -what happened? Only good thing is , my water butt is full!!! I think even the plants are confused…..what season is it exactly? complete with thorns!
Hopefully we WILL get a wee bit of sunshine here in the ‘frozen north’.
Anyway, apart from the weather we have a grey squirrel that’s vandalised two of my begonias to the point where I’m thinking -Shoot-to-Kill or try a rat trap??? My remaining solitary begonia I have attempted to protect with some strategically placed rose stems
For the future seasons maybe I’ll try to cover our west facing fence with more climbers….I only have one at the moment which is a virginia creeper.
That’s my grump for today….
PS: My arbor had a little family of earwigs too!

That's so disappointing for you, maybe put your begonias in wall pots next year, mind you the wee scrub will probably climb up anyway! Tenacious wee divils! Hope things are a bit brighter today! :0)

Keep our fingers crossed for a sunny July Matt. I've got quite a few begonias in containers this year. Got them really cheap at the shopping centre. We'll see how it goes. Something is eating all my dahlias.

Oh dear, hope your begonia does well and evades the squirrel, not sure about the season myself, it seems to have gone back to April as regards the weather.
Hope you`re feeling happier today, we all get the grumps sometimes, lol.
