Dwarf fruit trees
4 comments
Hi everyone. Just a new blog on dwarf fruit trees. Anyone who has them or knows a lot about them I would like to hear from you on how they are doing. I myself have a dwarf peach tree agains a short sunny fence which is doing fine after lovely early spring blooms. How are your trees doing?

Cool. Yeah I think my peach is a fan trained one and that's how I'm going to prune it as it garenties that all the fruits will get maximum sun. Hope your pear blossoms and thanks for your comment.

I bought dwarf fruit trees in February - braeburn apple, conference pear, victoria plum, and ?? cherry.
So far the pear is in blossom, no sign of blossoms on the other three yet, but they have lots of leaves. I won't expect much from this year in terms of fruit whilst they establish. Keeping them in pots this year to see how they do.

Hope they blossom soon. As with you I'm not expecting fruit this year but maybe the next. Great thing about dwarfs is that they give you full sized fruit but are less then quarter of the size then the real tree. All to do with grafting on to rootstocks. Thanks for replying.
