Some front garden pictures

Finally done some work and took pictures of the front. I’m afraid I’m ignoring the poor thing more and more this year…Can’t say I’m enjoying the work there, it’s straight on the road and on the side of a park so there’s always some traffic. We’ve also had to many cases of breaking in so I only work there when Mark is at home, so really just the weekends. Really takes the fun away if you have to worry about getting robbed while working in the garden. Watering is also a pain – I have to get the hose trough the house. Generally I just let it do what it wants to do, let many things self seed, with occasional watering/weeding/tiding up.
Nice thing was, when I finally got myself to do some work yesterday , an old guy that always go past us stopped to say how much he like seeing the garden with all it’s messy glory! :-)
The only Penstemon to survive the winter
Happy Oxalis
Annual Poppies just starting, always give great show
Achillea ‘Moonshine’, I like it with the blue Delphiniums
And last, Salvia nemorosa ‘Sensation Blue’, hope you enjoyed the pictures :-)

It's very pretty. I like to see a jumble of plants all growing happily together. It looks more natural :o)

What a lovely front garden, Columbine :)

I think it should be called just plain glorious! A riot of gorgeous colour, people work for months to get a garden to look like that! It's fantastic!

Thank you all for your kind comments and welcome Lauraj :-) It's funny how it got that look onces I stopped trying... I leave thing to self seed, sort of plunk new plants in where I think they'll look ok or where I see a bare ground. Colour coordination certainly does not exist in there ;->>
It does get too messy at times - these pictures are after some series weeding and cutting back job!
Kfunsters I do get quite a few comments or see passerbys having a look, actually a couple on man walking by just did as I type this...
